JINGI-WULLU (Greetings)
Renovations have been taking place at the local Land Council offices – Gudgin Guddaba on Ettrick Street. There will be a new conference room and kitchen available for hire within the next few months. These facilities can be used for youth activities, courses, conferences and meetings, go down and have a look. Give Ron Randall, CEO of the Land Council a call on 6632 1056.Under the close eye and encouragement of Kym Watling, young Kleon Toffetti has been learning to play musical instruments and mix sound with the Kyogle Acoustic Musical Society. He is making our community very proud and we would like to see him further his career in music. After three months in and out of hospital I am taking a well-deserved break and going up to Bundaberg to see my grandchildren. Then back home dialyzing and then up to Stradbroke Island for a week. I will be home for Christmas in Kyogle and my eldest boy Gabe and his family are coming home from Tamworth on Boxing Day for two weeks. Gabe is joining the police force in February. I am very proud of my son.I wish everybody in the community a wonderful Christmas and all the best for the New Year.Until next month –
